Security Experts Warn Green Tea Is 'A Cunning Gateway Beverage To Marxism'

'It starts with jasmine, it ends with the proletariat,' according to one Tufton Street think tank, which found builder's tea remains 'the only truly patriotic brew.'

Security Experts Warn Green Tea Is 'A Cunning Gateway Beverage To Marxism'

Security commentators are raising the alarm over what one Tufton Street think tank is calling Beijing’s most insidious operation yet: organic loose-leaf green tea. According to the Albion Policy Foundation, the beverage is no longer simply a trendy alternative to a proper builder’s brew, but a “carefully calibrated gateway drink designed to condition the British public into accepting collective ownership.”

The Foundation’s report sets out what it calls the three-stage “Red Brew” pathway:

  • Stage one: mild herbal complacency. The drinker swaps a strong, milky builder’s tea for “a gentle, foreign blend,” quietly lowering their natural competitive instincts.
  • Stage two: the radicalisation of sharing the leaves. Drinkers begin re-steeping the same pot three or four times, subtly normalising the idea that resources should be pooled and shared without additional transaction.
  • Stage three: full allotment collectivism. Within six months, the report warns, the subject is wearing linen trousers and demanding the parish allotment committee be run “on more equitable lines.”

“Make no mistake, this is a direct attack on British get-up-and-go,” said Col. (Ret’d) Brian Fortescue-Hatch, speaking on a GB News panel convened to discuss the findings. “You think you’re just settling your stomach, but the moment you sit down with a mug of green tea, you stop wanting to get ahead of the neighbours. You start wanting to discuss ‘communal harmony’ and ‘sustainable allotment practice.’ It’s a liquid Trojan horse.”

Asked whether herbal infusions such as chamomile posed a similar risk, Fortescue-Hatch said continental teas only encouraged “slothful social-democratic tendencies,” whereas genuine imported green tea carried “a direct, high-potency risk of hardline communism.”

The Department for Business has so far declined to comment on whether any restriction is being considered, though GB News presenters have already begun urging viewers to stick to builder’s tea, own-brand cola, or plain tap water “to preserve British sovereignty.”
